• In spring 2022, the National Museums of World Culture, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut and the French Institute, organized a symposium under the title Decolonization of Museum Work. In connection with the symposium, we also recorded an episode of the National Museums of World Culture’s podcast series Inside the Box. • Afrika pågår was a development project focusing on Africa, run within the Museum of Ethnography in Stockholm during 2018–2022. Within the project’s framework, a variety of initiatives were carried out, often in collaboration with external actors, providing new perspectives on the museum’s African collections and their relationships with the African continent. • During 2021–2023, the National Museums of World Culture, as part of the larger EU project Taking Care, had the opportunity to develop deeper collaboration with one of the Indigenous peoples in Taiwan. The collaboration resulted, among other things, in an exhibition at the Museum of Ethnography, We are Seediq. • Empowering Women’s Histories was a project in which the National Museums of World Culture, during 2019–2022 and with support from the Swedish Institute, developed a deeper collaboration with the Women’s History Museum Zambia in Lusaka.
