Equal in Med is a regional youth seminar that aims at enhancing intercultural dialogue between youth from Sweden, Egypt, Tunisia and France on gender equality and women empowerment.
From 28 August to 7 September 2018, we had workshops on storytelling, filming, editing, recording interviews and other art forms related to the topic of gender equality. The final outcome was an exhibition hosted by the Centre Régional Information Jeunesse Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The exhibition lasted for two weeks and received hundreds of viewers.
From the Swedish ALF network, we had 4 participants from YMCA-YWCA, Stockholm University - Middle Eastern Studies Department, Peace Works Sweden, and Fryshuset.

The seminar was organised by Bokra Sawa association in Marseille in partnership with the Anna Lindh Foundation network coordinator in Sweden, World Culture Museum, Fanni Raghman Anni (Tunisia), and El Madina Performing and Digital Arts (Egypt).
The seminar is co-funded by Erasmus+ programme. Thanks to the support from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we managed to cover costs for the Swedish participants under our mobility fund scheme.
